  1. Dallas Cowboys T-Shirt

The Kansas City Chiefs trudged into the locker room after their first loss with Patrick Mahomes at quarterback Womens Customized Dallas Cowboys Jerseys , a streak that goes back six games to his Week 17 start last season. Here's the thing, though: There was no sense of defeat in Gillette Stadium on Sunday night.Instead, the Chiefs seemed downright emboldened by the way they fought back from a big halftime hole against New England. And if not for a litany of injuries to their defense and another clutch game by Tom Brady and the Patriots offense, which drove downfield in the final minutes to set up a winning field goal in their 43-40 victory, the Chiefs might have kept their winning streak going."We got down, we put ourselves in a huge hole and I'm just proud of my team and how we fought to get back in the game," Mahomes said. "We had the lead at one point and then we ended up not coming out with the win but just that fight, it's something you can carry on and to the rest of this season."All of which is true, of course. But the way the Chiefs performed under the lights in New England may have been more than just the stereotypical moral victory.Mahomes threw two interceptions in the first half, when Bill Belichick's defense seemed to have the young quarterback confused. The Chiefs' running game was going nowhere and a defense missing lead pass rusher Justin Houston and its top three safeties to injuries looked like a sieve. It was 24-9 at the break and could have been a whole lot worse. But for the first time in his budding career, Mahomes not only was forced to make massive in-game adjustments but did so successfully. He wound up throwing four second-half touchdown passes, three of them to Tyreek Hill, and that same offense that scuffled through the first 30 minutes and found itself in a deep hole piled up 31 points over the final two quarters. In fact, the Chiefs' offense was rolling so impressively in the second half that they may have scored their final touchdown too quickly. Mahomes found Hill over the middle, and one of the fastest players in the NFL turned up the sideline for a 75-yard score that knotted the game 40-all.Two problems with that: There was still 3陆 minutes left and Brady was on the other sideline. The Patriots moved seemingly at ease against the Chiefs' porous defense, getting into position for Stephen Gostkowski to knock through a chip-shot field goal as time expired. And the old cliche of the last team having the ball would win wound up being spot-on."It was a heck of a football game," Chiefs coach Andy Reid said. "I was proud of how the guys battled. We will learn a lot from this game. We kind of shot ourselves in the foot a little bit early and you can't do that against a good football team. So, we learn from it and we move on."Because the fact is Kansas City is still 5-1 with the toughest six-game stretch of the season already finished. There's another spotlight game coming up this Sunday night against Cincinnati , but that game will take place at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs tend to have a big advantage. They're still a game ahead of the Chargers in the AFC West, and have beaten Philip Rivers and Co. on the road, along with picking up road wins over the Steelers and Broncos."You want to win. As a competitor, you want to win every single week," Mahomes said, "but you learn from everything in this league. You learn from every experience that you have. You're not going to win every single game. And so for us, we're going to take the things that we did in that second half to kind of get us back into it and kind of keep that stuff going as the season goes on."The Chiefs still believe they're the best team in the AFC, and going toe-to-toe with the reigning champions on the road Sunday night only underscored that belief. Defensive tackle Allen Bailey even predicted that they would "see those cats again," alluding to a possible playoff showdown. So, there was no sense of defeat in the Chiefs locker room on Sunday night. There was a feeling of steadfast resolve and unwavering confidence."Guys showed character. Down what, 15 at halftime? Guys showed character," defensive tackle Chris Jones said. "It's a tough loss, a tough loss, but you learn a lot from that. You learn a lot about your team and about yourself and who you are. We are going to face adversity throughout the season and this team came together, we battled back, but they ended up kicking the field goal for the win." From the moment the Jones family removed the interim tag and made Jason Garrett their next head coach, they have all practiced an extreme amount of patience. This organization has been about as patient with their coach as any outside of the Bengals with Marvin Lewis.Maybe Jerry Jones is using his past regrets as a guide for this determination to make it work with Garrett.Prior to Garrett Dallas Cowboys T-Shirt , the Cowboys averaged a new coach every three years and Jerry has always felt firing Chan Gailey after two seasons was a misstep. This ownership has emphatically stood behind this coach, despite only two postseason appearances now halfway into his eighth season.Any time he has been asked this season, Jones routinely shoots down the suggestion that Garrett’s seat is even lukewarm. It makes you wonder if a switch was flipped during this past bye week. This team’s actions have shown they are in win-now mode by trading next year’s first-round pick for Amari Cooper and firing a position coach midseason. Well, what happens if they don’t win?I’ve long supported Garrett as have many of my colleagues, but a second straight year without a postseason appearance would justify making a move. Garrett has always had a plausible, yet convenient, excuse in the past why you shouldn’t fire him. Think about it, when the Cowboys had three straight 8-8 seasons, the lack of talent was the culprit. They finally came close in 2014 but lost Tony Romo in week two of 2015 which made a 4-12 season excusable. After embarking on a new era led by rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott in 2016, they certainly weren’t making that change. Even this past year when they missed the playoffs at 9-7, they put that one on the six-game suspension of Elliott and other missing key players. It’s always been difficult to figure out what kind of coach Garrett is because there are times where he can get his players to run through brick walls for him. There are also mistakes that can be directly attributed to decisions he has made. This season has been a perfect example of the roller-coaster you are on with these Cowboys. After the Cowboys lost to the Texans in overtime, Garrett was vilified for lacking guts to go for a 4th-and-1 at Houston’s 42-yard line. As always, Cowboys social media was ablaze, waging war about who to blame. Mainstream media was grabbing quotes from Cowboys receiver Allen Hurns, who seemingly called out the offensive coordinator, Scott Linehan. It was a tumultuous week with the Jaguars top-rated defense coming in. Convenient timing struck again as Garrett’s Cowboys hung 40 points on Jacksonville when nobody thought they would get more than a few field goals. All excitement was deflated the very next week. With sole possession of the NFC East on the line, Dallas went to Washington and lost their fourth straight road game. So, here they are at 3-4 Dallas Cowboys Hats , with a struggling Titans team on the horizon at home. It’s a game that they should by all rights win and since it’s a home game, the odds are that they will. Their home and away splits are the only indicator of expectations we have had this season which points to an 8-8 finish that won’t be acceptable. That’s why it looks like they are trying at all costs to avoid that by paying such a high price for their new receiver. The front office is fixing any mistake they can to remove excuses away from the 2018 Dallas Cowboys. That’s why these last nine games will weigh heavily on this coaching staff because the wagon is hitched to the majority of the talent. Dak Prescott is one of many players on offense that must play better but he’s not going anywhere soon. Such is the same with Tyron Smith, La’el Collins, and this offensive line. The only thing to do is win football games and hope that these moves will indeed make them a better football team. Jason Garrett has been successful before when he’s backed up against the wall but the climb ahead has never been steeper. The Cowboys are the 12th NFC seed, looking up at the Buccaneers, Falcons, Packers, Seahawks, and Panthers. They have already lost to two of those teams so hopes for a wildcard berth would require more than one of them to collapse. Garrett is going to have to win the NFC East and he’s down two games to the Washington Redskins right now. Garrett still has one more game to get even with Washington, followed by two against the Eagles, and one more date with the Giants. Though it ultimately comes down to the division crown, Garrett will likely need wins at Atlanta and at home against Tampa Bay.All in all, Jason Garrett is facing a daunting task that will require him to go 7-2 the rest of the way. He was able to finish 7-4 after a 2-3 start last year but he’ll need to be better this time around. It may seem a little unfair to pin everything on the coaching staff but this regime received the benefit of the doubt last year. They doubled down on Jason Garrett and his right hand man, Scott Linehan. They switched out all but one offensive position coach and allowed Linehan to hand pick his own staff. The events of this past bye week is yet another example of this organization’s investment in Garrett and his staff. It’s now time for tangible results because eight years is quite a long time to keep asking for “trust in the process”. That’s especially the case for a process that has yielded only one playoff win. 2. Through two games Allen Hurns Jersey , the importance of Travis Frederick has become very clear Stop me if you’ve heard this before: the Cowboys offensive line is absolutely dominant. It’s been a common refrain in recent years, and the trio that have anchored this impressive unit consisted of Tyron Smith, arguably the best left tackle in the NFL, Zack Martin, arguably the best guard in the NFL, and Travis Frederick, arguably the best center in the NFL. For all the hype given to these three, it seems that Smith and Martin are usually the ones garnering the majority of the praise, and for good reason. Smith just gets beat so rarely, and his strength as a run blocker makes him stand apart from other elite left tackles. Martin, on the other hand, was an All-Pro as a rookie. That just doesn’t happen often. While nobody has ever watched Frederick play and said “He just isn’t that good,” it’s not unrealistic to suggest that Frederick is underrated as a player. And these first two games for the Dallas Cowboys have proved exactly that. First things first, though, a clarification - this piece is not meant to serve as any criticism of backup center Joe Looney, who has done a serviceable job starting in place of Frederick these last two weeks. In fact, Looney even got a pancake block on Damon “Snacks” Harrison on Sunday night, no easy feat. However, the running game has struggled significantly to start the season. Ezekiel Elliott has been limited to under 80 yards both games - 69 yards against Carolina and 78 against New York. That has only happened to Elliott twice before: one was his rookie debut Authentic Deonte Thompson Jersey , also against the Giants, and the other last year in the infamous Debacle in Denver. Part of the problem can be tied to a lack of carries for Zeke, who has failed to get 20 carries in either game, something that’s only happened to him four other times in his career. And to be fair, Elliott has averaged 4.6 yards per carry in both games this year, a better mark than last season. However, a lot of Elliott’s runs have been snuffed out from the beginning, resulting in losses, no gains, or minimal gains. There are plenty of people to blame for that, but perhaps the biggest factor is the opposing defense. In Week One, the offensive line faced two defensive tackles who are outstanding against the run in Kawann Short and Dontari Poe. Short, in particular, is a defensive monster and his two sacks against the Cowboys last week prove it. He also ranks fourth in the NFL in tackles for loss since 2015 with 35, showcasing his ability to disrupt plays in the backfield. Poe, on the other hand, is a space-eating machine at 346 pounds. Somehow, though, Poe looks small compared to Giants nose tackle Damon Harrison Youth Chidobe Awuzie Jersey , measuring in at 355 pounds. Harrison is an even more unstoppable space-eater than Short or Poe, and he was behind a lot of the Cowboys’ troubles running the ball on Sunday night. But the Cowboys have faced Harrison, Poe, and Short in the past and been able to run the ball. The difference this season is the absence of Frederick. Of course, Frederick is out indefinitely with Guillain-Barre syndrome, and although there’s no real time table on when he may return, the Cowboys felt confident enough to not place him on the Injured Reserve/Designated to Return list. And as previously mentioned, Looney has done a good enough job in his place. But good enough just isn’t going to cut it against the kind of All-Pro talent Looney has faced in the first two games, and the running game has suffered because of it. This next week, against the Seahawks, Looney will likely face another tough battle against Jarran Reed. After that, it’s going to be Da’Shawn Hand and A’Shawn Robinson of the Lions before things get really hard going against the Texans’ and Jaguars’ stout defensive fronts. The issue with this is that it takes away one of the Cowboys’ favorite type of run plays, the zone stretch concept, in which Elliott gets the option of cutting between the tackles, cutting outside, or possibly cutting back to the other side of the play. If the first option, going between the tackles, gets routinely taken away as it has thus far, it severely limits the things Elliott can do with the ball. Thus , the Cowboys will have to switch up their run game considerably unless Looney can start to play at an elite status or Frederick returns. This means more pulling blocks, pitches outside the tackles, and more runs out of the shotgun. Of course, more read-option stuff with successful QB keepers by Dak Prescott helps make the defensive line a little more hesitant as well. But if you noticed that a lot of the run plays from under center seemed to fizzle out Sunday night, this is why. It’s a testament to just how great Frederick is that an entire rushing attack can be so disrupted by his absence. When Looney first started getting extensive work in the preseason and looked solid, many people (myself included) seemed to think the Cowboys would be fine without the Bearded One. Through these first two games, though, it seems that idea was wrong. Frederick is vital to the success of Elliott, and if the Cowboys want to run the ball as successfully as they have in the past, Scott Linehan will need to make some changes going forward to more appropriately mask the temporary weakness. 3. Los Angeles Rams T-Shirt

The Los Angeles Chargers have had to make plenty of adjustments this season on defense due to injuries and suspensions. They will have to make another with one of their leading tacklers lost for the remainder of the year.Coach Anthony Lynn said Monday that linebacker Denzel Perryman injured the lateral collateral ligament in his left knee during the first quarter of Sunday's 20-6 win against Oakland and will undergo surgery. The 5-foot-11 Los Angeles Rams T-Shirt , 240-pound inside linebacker had started every game this season and was second in tackles with 51 going into the Raiders game."It is definitely a blow to our defense. When Denzel is on the roster he is a difference-maker," Lynn said.Perryman is one of the team's top defenders against the run with 15 stuffs (tackles on running plays for no gain or a loss). Los Angeles is ranked 17th in the league against the run. It has allowed only one running back to rush for over 100 yards (the Rams' Todd Gurley in Week 3) but the Chargers have been inconsistent. The Chargers are allowing an average of 133.8 yards per game on the ground over the past four games, which is 22 yards more than their season average. The one area where they have made improvement is in the pass rush. They have 15 sacks in the past four games and have four interceptions."We have done a better job at stopping the explosive plays. As we stop passes going over our heads our defense has been playing a lot better," cornerback Desmond King said.Perryman has been unable to remain healthy during his four years in the league. He missed four games in 2016 due to hamstring and knee injuries and did not play in the first eight games last season after suffering an ankle injury in the preseason. He was drafted in the second round in 2015 and is in the final year of his contract.Perryman is the second Chargers linebacker who has been placed on IR. Kyzir White Los Angeles Rams Hats , who started the first three games at one of the outside spots, was placed on injured reserve on Nov. 3 due to a knee injury. The team has not ruled out the possibility that he may return by the end of the year since it has not used its designated-to-return spot.Hayes Pullard and Kyle Emanuel, who both saw 16 snaps against Oakland, are in the mix to move into Perryman's starting spot. Pullard started 10 games last season after being claimed off waivers and posted a career-high 79 tackles.Defensive end Joey Bosa has missed the season due to a foot injury Los Angeles Rams Womens Hoodie , but he has made progress in his rehab. Lynn said Monday that there isn't a timetable for Bosa's return, but he did not completely rule him out for this week's game against Denver. The Chargers have won six straight despite their injury woes, which is their longest winning streak since they took 11 straight in 2009. The Los Angeles Rams were simply too much for the San Francisco 49ers.From the opening kickoff to the final whistle, the Rams absolutely dominated things in all three phases. Were it not for some early mistakes from the Rams that they committed all on their own Womens Customized Los Angeles Rams Jerseys , the blowout would have been in full force early on. Instead, it took a few possessions for the Rams to iron out the wrinkles and for the game to truly show the distance between these two teams. And give the Rams credit. No, the Niners aren’t a highly talented team, and yes they’ve suffered a bunch of high-impact injuries. But doesn’t matter. It’s the Rams-49ers. Getting a win like this on the back of the offensive line Cooper Kupp Jersey Elite , RB Todd Gurley and DL Aaron Donald with great performances all around the defense with the takeaways they got today is something the Rams should hang their hats on as they come home to LA to take on the Green Bay Packers next Sunday. For today though, this contest was about two teams on opposite sides of the fence. And two teams that played like it.
  4. Wade Phillips returns to Denver this weekend and several Broncos can't wait to hug it out with their former defensive coordinator.Phillips was the Broncos' beloved bandmaster when they were riding firetrucks in a downtown parade and Von Miller was showing off the Super Bowl trophy 2陆 years ago."Coach Phillips is football royalty Authentic Kurt Warner Jersey ," a man for whom "the moments were never too big and the moments were never too small," said Miller, who recalled Phillips depressurizing his defense before Super Bowl 50 by declaring: "All the mistakes are on me and you can just go out there and play.""It just shows you what type of coach that he is," Miller said. "He's dope."Now 71, Phillips is leading a revitalized Rams defense for 32-year-old Los Angeles head coach Sean McVay, who brings a 5-0 team to Denver on Sunday to face the reeling Broncos (2-3).This game was supposed to mark Aqib Talib's return, too. But the star cornerback is sidelined with an ankle injury, which bums out Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr."Definitely. You love having that competition," Harris said. "He's going to talk mess to me if we lose, and if we win, then I'm definitely hollering at him."Harris is certainly embracing Phillips, win or lose."Wade, he just gave you so much confidence in yourself. I'll never forget, I had one bad game Limited Marshall Faulk Jersey , and he's just, 'You're the best. You're going to get it next week. I'm ready for you next week. I've got a big game plan for you to make plays next week,'" Harris recounted. "He just knows how to lift you up and brings your potential out of you."The Broncos didn't renew Phillips' contract after the 2016 season and McVay was thrilled to hire him shortly after becoming the youngest head coach in modern NFL history."You're probably going to have a tough time finding anyone that doesn't really like him and enjoy being around Wade," McVay said. "He's got a great way about himself, a great feel for this game, he doesn't take himself too seriously. He's all about making sure that he listens to people, wants to try and put players in great spots."Denver's defenders still talk glowingly about their time with Phillips."He's an old guy, but he acts young," Harris said. "He tries to be hip with everything and he just loves the game. It's not hard to play for a coach that really loves the game, really wants to win."Broncos coach Vance Joseph called Phillips "my football father," a football genius and a great man."He was a killer on Sundays," Joseph said. "He had great timing with his calls and he was going to be aggressive. I'm watching this defense and it's Wade Phillips."Phillips, who began his NFL coaching career as an assistant for his father, Bum Eric Dickerson Jersey , in Houston in 1969, is now doling out praise and pointers with his 10th NFL franchise."Man, Wade's been around since dinosaurs have been here," Broncos linebacker Shane Ray said. "So, I think he's just got that feel."Other subplots as the Broncos aim for their first win over the Rams since 2002:WOODS' WOESPhillips' protege, Joe Woods, hasn't enjoyed nearly the same success since replacing him last season, and the situation is quickly becoming dire. The Broncos, who are 7-14 since Phillips' departure, have surrendered 958 yards the last two weeks, but Joseph said he won't be taking over the play-calling duties Sunday."Joe's the coordinator," Joseph said. "So, he's calling the plays."CHANGES PROMISEDJoseph said he'd shake things up after Denver's demoralizing 34-16 loss to the Jets, but declined to bench struggling cornerback Bradley Roby Torry Holt Jersey Salute to Service , who allowed three long touchdowns and failed to follow proper protocol for calling in sick Monday. One change that might occur is Max Garcia replacing right guard Connor McGovern, but it appears left tackle Garett Bolles' job is safe despite being unable to break his holding habit.Poor protection has contributed to QB Case Keenum rushing his mechanics. He had just five TD passes, has already tied last year's seven interceptions and is on pace for 42 sacks, about double the number he had in Minnesota last season.SNOW SHOWThe Rams are aware of the snow in the forecast for Denver this weekend — "Hopefully it slows them down a little bit," Broncos GM John Elway said — but McVay isn't worried about his warm-weather team's ability to handle it."Out here in Southern California, unless we want to go to an ice rink, I don't think we can mimic and emulate that," McVay said.RICKETY RAMSReceivers Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp both left their last game with head injuries, but are expected to play as the Rams seek their first 6-0 start since 2001.All-Pro kicker Greg Zuerlein has a groin injury, which means Cairo Santos will kick in Denver. Buffalo Rumblings Podcast: Recapping Buffalo’s upset win Buffalo Bills Hats , Josh Allen’s clutch performance Wow, who saw that coming? The Buffalo Bills (1-2) traveled to Minneapolis for a showdown with the Minnesota Vikings (1-1-1-1), and shocked the football world with a HUGE 27-6 win over the reigning NFC North champions. How in the heck did the Bills, a team left for dead after two lackluster performances to open the 2018 season, pull off the biggest upset of the year?In the latest edition of the Buffalo Rumblings podcast, host John Boccacino is joined by co-host Anthony Marino to break down the win, which featured a poised Josh Allen performing well in a hostile environment, and a defense that performed like Bills’ fans hoped it would when the season began. Well, since every single Buffalo Bills fan expected their team to head into Minnesota and pull off the shocking upset, there’s not much to discuss in our recap podcast...okay, only the most optimistic of Bills fans gave this team a chance to earn its first win against the Vikings, a team with legitimate hopes of winning the Super Bowl. Our podcasting duo discussed Josh Allen’s poise and maturity in guiding the Bills to a win, as Allen beat the Vikings with his strong arm and his legs. Allen completed 15 of 22 passes for 196 yards with one passing touchdown, and added 39 rushing yards on 10 carries with a pair of TD runs for Buffalo, which entered as a 16.5-point underdog. How did the Bills stun the Vikings? With consistent quarterbacking play Buffalo Bills Hoodie , a persistent ground game led by Chris Ivory and Marcus Murphy that accumulated 89 yards on 28 carries, and an opportunistic defense that returned to its 2017 form of forcing turnovers and flipping the field. Allen scampered 10 yards and dove into the end zone for a touchdown on Buffalo’s opening drive, giving the Bills the lead for the first time this year. It was a lead they would never relinquish. A pair of big plays certainly helped the Bills cause: the first, a nifty 26-yard touchdown pass to Jason Croom on a play where Allen faked a handoff to Ivory up the middle and faked a screen pass to the right flat to Murphy before hitting a wide-open Croom on a wheel route for a TD and a 17-0 lead. Aside from Allen’s incredible hurdle over Pro Bowl linebacker Anthony Barr, the other big play, which showcased both Allen’s mobility and the creativity of Brian Daboll’s offense, set up Buffalo’s third touchdown. On a play-action pass, Allen faked to Ivory, who then slipped out of the backfield into the middle of the field. Allen, who was flushed out of the pocket, kept the play alive long enough to spot Ivory, whose catch and run set Buffalo up at the Minnesota six-yard line. While the offense struck early and often for 17 first-quarter points en route to a 27-0 halftime lead, the defense limited Minnesota to only 46 first-half yards, forcing two fumbles that led to 10 points. The defense attacked and flew over the field all day long, confusing quarterback Kirk Cousins while bottling up the high-flying Vikings offense. The pass rush took a huge step forward Cheap Customized Buffalo Bills Jerseys , sparked by Jerry Hughes, who registered 15 pressures according to NFL Next Gen Stats. That figure represents the most pressures in a game over the last three seasons. Linebacker Matt Milano also stood out on defense, enjoying one of the finest games of his young career. Milano finished with a sack, a fumble recovery, and an interception, becoming the first member of the Bills to accomplish that feat since Troy Vincent in 2004.All-told, it was an inspiring bounce-back effort from a Bills team that just one week ago was a national embarrassment following the sudden retirement of starting cornerback Vontae Davis at halftime of a 31-20 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Cornerbacks Tre’Davious White and Ryan Lewis also stood out for their outstanding play, limiting Minnesota’s dynamic wide receiver tandem of Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen — who ran wild against the Packers for a combined 21 catches for 259 and three touchdowns — to 22 yards on six catches in the first half. Fred Jackson rumbled 38 yards — delivering a pair of stiff-arms to Chris Conte — and ran all the way down to the one-yard line, setting up Dan Carpenter’s game-winning 27-yard field goal. The Bears earned a 22-19 win on Nov. 7, 2010 in the last “home” game in the series, a game played at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The last time the Bills actually hosted Da Bears in Western New York, Travis Henry caught a 26-yard touchdown pass from Drew Bledsoe just 1:58 into overtime to lift Buffalo to a 33-27 win on Sept. 29, 2002. Bledsoe completed 28 of 36 passes for 328 yards with four touchdowns in one of his best games in Buffalo, while Eric Moulds hauled in eight passes for 124 yards and a TD in the win.
  6. Buffalo Bills cornerback Taron Johnson has left the game against the New York Jets with a shoulder injury. It’s been an ongoing problem for the rookie , who missed a game earlier in the year with the same problem.Johnson, the 2018 fourth-round pick, has played a majority of snaps for the Bills in 2018. He’s been the team’s primary slot cornerback all year after beating out Phillip Gaines during training camp. He missed Week 2 after injuring his shoulder. He’s known for laying some big hits, but if he keeps injuring himself, he may want to rethink that philosophy. After the release of Gaines, the Bills promoted Levi Wallace from the practice squad at cornerback. Ryan Lewis found his way into the game after the injury to Johnson. Deon Lacy also saw time in the defensive backfield.Johnson had one interception and three defended passes before today’s game in addition tohis 33 tackles. After losing to the Houston Texans by a trademark Nathan Peterman interception , the Buffalo Bills travel to Indianapolis to take on the 1-5 Colts. With an elbow injury sidelining Josh Allen for the foreseeable future, the Bills turn to veteran quarterback, Derek Anderson. He, along with the rest of the players on this list, will factor in to whether the Bills bounce back or head into Monday Night Football at a cool 2-5. QB Derek AndersonA seasoned veteran, some would say , who hasn't thrown a touchdown in a regular season game since Week four of the 2016 season. But he has to be better than Peterman right? For Sean McDermott’s sake, I hope so. Anderson had 16 days to learn a new playbook and less than a full week of work with the starters in practice to get some sort of timing down. The good news? The Colts have a terrible defense. They rank 26th in passing yards allowed and give up an average of 30 points per game. Anderson doesn't have to turn into Peyton Manning for the Bills to have a shot but he needs to be better than... you know. RB LeSean McCoyMcCoy has yet to break 100 yards on the ground and this week might be the best chance up to this point. The Colts give up an average of 106 yards a game on the ground and that’s with teams getting into air raid battles with them. McCoy also hasn't been able to find the end zone through his first five games and I think there is a good possibility that changes tomorrow. For a team without much offensive talent, McCoy is still by far the best offensive player on the Bills roster. WR Kelvin BenjaminEveryone is sick of Benjamin and for good reason but this week could be different. From when Benjamin was drafted in 2014 to the Carolina Panthers, Derek Anderson was his teammate until Benjamin was traded before the deadline of the 2017 season. They do have a little bit of chemistry and Benjamin played well when Anderson was throwing him the ball. I’m sure their time together will be limited, but the Colts defense is a favorable matchup to rekindle this old flame. DE Jerry HughesA revenge game is upon us! Hughes is a feisty individual and he was not fond that the Colts wrote him off so quickly by trading him to the Bills in the 2013 offseason. This will be the third time that Hughes will face his old team, the first being in 2015 when the Bills beat the Colts in the season opener 27-14 and the second being the Snowvertime last season. Hughes is off to a great start through six games with four and a half sacks and three forced fumbles. The amount of total pressures he has put on opposing quarterbacks is near the top in the NFL as well. The Colts average a whopping 48 pass attempts per game this season and Hughes will have a lot of opportunities to make some noise in the backfield. CB Taron JohnsonOut of a long list of defensive players for the Bills that have been playing lights out , an argument could be made that Johnson has been the best of them all. A nickel corner is vital to NFL defenses in the modern age of football and Johnson has proven through the first six games that he can compete with the best of the best. He recognizes routes quickly, he comes up in run support and he is a cerebral player. Johnson could face a challenge this week with Colts’ receiver T.Y. Hilton returning from injury. Hilton is their number one receiver but he can line up anywhere on the field, including the slot. That matchup is something to watch for during the game.
  7. It feels like Saints quarterback Drew Brees has celebrated a milestone every week this season and Sunday’s win over the Ravens featured a pair of them.Brees became the fourth player in NFL history with 500 career touchdown passes when he hit tight end Benjamin Watson in the second quarter of the 24-23 win. Brees said he couldn’t “think of a better guy to have caught that ball” than a player who has had two runs in New Orleans with the quarterback.Brees threw his 501st touchdown in the fourth quarter as the Saints were coming back from 10 points down to move to 5-1 on the season. When asked about his touchdown mark Wil Lutz Jersey , Brees put the attention on that win.“Obviously, it’s a significant milestone, but I’m just focused on winning football games and if I just keep it very focused, then I think those things, they tend to happen,” Brees said, via the New Orleans Times-Picayune. “Listen, I will forever be grateful for the opportunities I’ve had in the NFL, to play this game , to play on the teams that I’ve had a chance to play on, the teammates, the coaches, they’re the ones that have made this so rewarding.”The other milestone for Brees was related to all the winning he’s done over the years. Beating the Ravens means Brees now has a win against all 32 teams in the NFL. Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill was fined $10,026 by the NFL on Saturday for taunting after he flashed a peace sign at the end of a touchdown catch.Hill was running into the end zone during a 73-yard reception in the fourth quarter of the Chiefs' 54-51 loss to the Los Angeles Rams last Monday night when he turned back at a pursuing defender and raised two fingers at him 鈥?a gesture he has done previously without being fined. He was assessed a 15-yard penalty for taunting.Hill was penalized but not fined last week when he jumped into the stands after a touchdown and started operating a television camera.Chiefs safety Eric Murray was docked $26,739 for unnecessary roughness during the opening drive of the game.Denver safety Justin Simmons was fined $53,482 for a helmet-to-helmet hit on a defenseless receiver in the Broncos' 23-22 win over the Chargers last Sunday. The Chargers' Jeff Richards was docked $26,739 for unnecessary roughness on a hit during a kickoff return. Los Angeles teammate Derwin James has to pay $10,026 for a facemask penalty.Jacksonville's Calais Campbell was fined $20 Marcus Williams Jersey ,054 for roughing the passer after his hit on Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlisberger in the Jaguars' 20-16 loss. The penalty wiped out an interception by Myles Jack.Campbell wrote on Twitter that he was "shocked by the call and even more shocked by the fine!" He added that he planned to appeal the league's decision.Jaguars teammates Yannick Ngakoue and Telvin Smith were each fined $10,026 for unnecessary roughness calls. The Giants' Olivier Vernon was docked $20,054 for his roughing-the-passer penalty on Tampa Bay's Ryan Fitzpatrick.Minnesota's Harrison Smith has to pay $10,026 for his hit that injured Chicago quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, who went to ground at the end of a run and hurt his right shoulder. Trubisky missed the Bears' next game on Thanksgiving Day against Detroit.New Orleans running back Alvin Kamara was docked $10,026 for unsportsmanlike conduct after he tossed a ball at an opponent.Among others fined $10,026 by the league Saturday: Indianapolis' George Odum (unnecessary roughness), Cincinnati's Dre' Kirkpatrick (unsportsmanlike conduct) and Green Bay's Bashaud Breeland (unnecessary roughness). 8. Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill have already developed such a strong rapport six games into their partnership that the Chiefs' quarterback has delivered passes to him just about every way possible.Right-handed. Left-handed. When Mahomes wasn't even trying. The right-handed touchdown tosses have earned plenty of attention Authentic Ramik Wilson Jersey , mostly because they tend to go for 50 or 60 yards. The left-handed completion, an improvisation under duress, was perhaps the biggest highlight to come from the Chiefs' come-from-behind win at Denver a few weeks ago. Then there was last Sunday night in New England, when Mahomes rolled to his left and appeared to be trying to find Kareem Hunt, only for Hill to swoop in and snare another touchdown reception. That one? Well, Mahomes wasn't going to admit who his target actually was."A magician never reveals his tricks," he said, "so I'll just leave it at that."There's been plenty of magic between Mahomes and Hill, though. Their rare skillsets have made them one of the most potent pass-catch combos in the NFL 鈥?Mahomes with the arm strength to send passes into the tightest of windows or heave them deep, and Hill with the hands to catch them and the world-class speed to beat just about any cornerback down the seam.Just ask Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore for his assessment of them."He's a great quarterback. He made some big throws," he said after the Patriots rallied for a 43-40 victory. "He got it to everybody on the field and he's a great quarterback."As for Hill, Gilmore said, "I've never seen anyone that fast. Fastest guy I've ever covered."Fellow defensive back Duron Harmon saw that elite speed when Hill caught a pass over the middle, angled toward the sideline and raced 75 yards for a touchdown. The scoring strike came with 3:03 left to play and pulled Kansas City into a 40-all tie with New England."He's by far the fastest person I've ever come in contact with Youth Cooper Kupp Jersey ," Harmon said. "If he gets anybody in that position, more than likely he's going to be gone. I still have to find a way to do something, to try to get him down, force him to the sideline. I've got to dive my defense a chance."Good luck with that.Hill leads the NFL with nine receptions of at least 25 yards this season, and when you combine his dangerous return talents, he has 16 plays of at least 50 yards since joining the league in 2016.Those numbers are a big reason why Mahomes is averaging 8.8 yards per attempt, third-best behind the rollercoaster Ryan Fitzpatrick of Tampa Bay and Rams quarterback Jared Goff. Mahomes also has an NFL-leading 23 completions of at least 25 yards and the top touchdown percentage in the league."He's definitely to me the most explosive person in the league," Mahomes said, "and the way he's developed as a receiver the last few years, he's going for that top spot. I know there's a lot of great receivers in the league but I'm glad I have Tyreek."Hill is equally glad to have Mahomes under center, claiming he's the first quarterback to have the arm strength to overthrow him downfield. And while that's happened a couple of times this season, they nevertheless have connected for at least 50 yards receiving in every game. That includes a seven-catch, 169-yard performance in a season-opening win over the Chargers, and a seven-catch , 142-yard performance with three TDs in last week's loss to the Patriots."I don't even know what to say about him. Pat just does a great job looking down the field and trusting us," Hill said. "Pat's trust lets me go out there and make a play."The banged-up Bengals get the next chance to slow down Mahomes and Hill when they visit Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night. And considering Cincinnati is allowing nearly 300 yards passing per game, and has the fourth-worst defense overall, they could be due for another big day."They do a great job of making you defend the field, and you get misdirection, motion, shifts, all the things they do make you responsible, and they do them with great athleticism and speed," Cincinnati coach Marvin Lewis said. "We have a big challenge ahead of us."Notes: Safety Eric Berry (heel) and C Mitch Morse (concussion) were sidelined in practice Wednesday. ... Reid said new OL Jeff Allen will start off in a backup role. He started for most of four seasons in Kansas City before joining the Texans, who cut him last summer. Allen returned this week as the Chiefs tried to add some depth up front. ... FS Daniel Sorensen (broken leg) is eligible to come off injured reserve soon, though Reid said there is no timetable yet. "He's making great progress," Reid said. "He's close. We'll just see how he does here the next week." Jon Gruden's return to the Oakland Raiders' sideline couldn't have gotten off to a better start, with Marshawn Lynch powering his way into the end zone for a touchdown. The rest of the night turned out to be rather forgettable for the Raiders and showed that Oakland has a long way to go to get back to the level Gruden had the team playing at when his first stint as coach ended more than 16 years ago.All that positive energy generated when Gruden was hired back in January turned to a chorus of boos by the end of a 33-13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday."It was great Samson Ebukam Jersey ," Gruden said of being back on the sideline at the Oakland Coliseum. "It's not time for that anymore. It's about getting this football team better. It wasn't good enough tonight."The Raiders (0-1) were good enough for one half as Derek Carr led the team to that opening-drive touchdown and two more field goals that gave Oakland a 13-10 lead at halftime. But the Rams (1-0) then scored all 23 points in the second half, with Marcus Peters returning Carr's third interception of the game 50 yards for a game-sealing touchdown that sent the fans who pined for Gruden's return for years heading to the exits."We are a better team than what was put out there on the field," tight end Jared Cook said. "This one game does not define us."The Raiders took the opening kick and drove 75 yards for a touchdown on a 10-yard run by Lynch. The Rams had Lynch stood up at the 3, but he powered his way into the end zone with help from a push by his offensive linemen.Oakland managed just six points the rest of the way against a defense fortified by the offseason additions of former All-Pros Peters, Aqib Talib and Ndamukong Suh.Carr threw an interception in the end zone to John Johnson in the second quarter, another in the fourth when he tried to pull back a pass at the last minute only to have the ball slip out and float right to linebacker Cory Littleton, and then the third on a miscommunication with Cook."He did some good things tonight and obviously there are some critical errors he has to eliminate," Gruden said. "He knows that. We all know that."Here are some other takeaways from the game:FIND A RHYTHMThe Rams started slowly after resting their entire starting offense throughout the preseason, as well as several key defensive players. But things turned in the second half, starting with quarterback Jared Goff leading the team to a tying field goal on the opening drive. Then they took the lead for good on a 58-yard, four-play drive that featured two passes downfield to another offseason addition, Brandin Cooks, and an 8-yard TD to Cooper Kupp."Any first game of the year, you're dealing with some things Authentic Austin Blythe Jersey ," Goff said. "You look at other teams around the league and it's no different for us."COOK'S NIGHTCook was one of the only Raiders to have a big night. He caught nine passes for 180 yards , breaking Todd Christensen's franchise record for receiving yards by a tight end. Christensen had 173 vs. the Chargers on Nov. 20, 1986.OH, SNAPThe Raiders got thrown for a loop early when long snapper Andrew DePaola injured his knee on a punt in the first quarter and didn't return. Tight end Lee Smith filled in and provided accurate snaps on two field goals. He had a high snap on a punt, but Johnny Townsend leaped and brought it down with no issues. It was a far cry from the 2012 season opener when Jon Condo got hurt for Oakland and Travis Goethel came in and botched three snaps in a loss to the Chargers."It was stressful, I can't even lie to you guys," Smith said. "I'm just glad they all got back there."FEED THE BEASTRams RB Todd Gurley had just five touches in the first half. He carried four times for 19 yards and took a short flip from Goff 19 yards for a score on his only reception. Gurley had 18 touches in the second half, carrying 16 times for 89 yards and catching two passes for 20 yards."You just try to get in that rhythm, get the ball, get consecutive run plays in a row," he said. "We were able to do that in the second half."
  9. All-22 analysis: Buffalo Bills linebacker Lorenzo Alexander As one of the elder statesmen of the Buffalo Bills , Lorenzo Alexander’s role heading into 2018 was widely felt by many to be primarily a locker room leader. Through two games, Alexander is making it loud and clear there’s gas left in the tank. Let’s check in on one of the brighter spots so far in the 2018 season. Play 1While the result of the play was a positive for the Baltimore Ravens, Alexander still had an excellent rep. Subtle hand-fighting technique and hustle led to a quarterback pressure. Alexander has seen 75 defensive snaps through two weeks. Most of these have kept the play in front of him, letting Alexander do what he does best: Diagnose and attack. Play 2Mostly straightforward analysis on this tackle. Alexander races across the field to make the hit. Alexander shoves off a potential blocker and stays disciplined in pursuit to make sure the play can’t develop. As soon as the second tackler arrives notice Alexander go for the ball. Play 3Despite football being a game of milliseconds, sometimes patience is still a virtue. Lorenzo Alexander doesn’t get anxious and makes sure to shoot the right gap. Once he has the angle, he gets the ankle too. Play 4Unfortunately this sack didn’t count thanks to a penalty, but Alexander and Trent Murphy reap the benefits of having more than one legitimate threat on the same side of the field. Alexander draws attention from two linemen, allowing Murphy to scoot by. As Murphy goes in for the play, he bumps the guard and frees up Alexander. Play 5From a geometry perspective, batting passes gets easier as the defender nears the quarterback. Lorenzo Alexander’s strong push puts him more than close enough to Philip Rivers to make the play. Excellent timing on the jump turns this into a tip drill with the Bills nearly getting the ball in scoring position. Play 6Harrison Phillips draws the double team, and Kyle WIlliams is a priority for the line to stop. That leaves Lorenzo Alexander free for the sack. The whistle comes quickly Buffalo Bills T-Shirt , robbing Alexander of the strip and recovery. Play 7Alexander is unaccounted for on this play and he takes advantage of it. The Chargers got carried away worrying about the second level, and Alexander reaches the carrier nearly at the same time as the ball.Play 8Alexander shadows the runner and makes sure there’s no way to move the ball forward. As a result, Eddie Yarbrough catches up and makes the tackle. The highlights above are not to claim he’s been perfect. But if you’re looking for a bright spot, here you go. The team captain is proving he still belongs. In a slight show of gamesmanship, the Buffalo Bills listed all three of their most severely injured players as questionable on Friday ahead of the weekend’s showdown with the Tennessee Titans. Micah Hyde, Rafael Bush, and Charles Clay all technically have a chance to play on Sunday. To be realistic, though, it wouldn’t be a shock to see both Hyde and Bush out of the picture this weekend. Following his original injury diagnosis, Hyde (groin) was labelled “week-to-week” by head coach Sean McDermott, and he didn’t practice at all this week. Bush (shoulder) also failed to practice from Wednesday through Friday Buffalo Bills Hats , and though he’d be needed with Hyde out, his availability may stretch out one more week.Charles Clay (ankle) followed a similar trajectory to last week, just with a different injury. After missing practice on Thursday, he was a full participant on Friday, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him on the field against the Titans.Shaq Lawson and Marcus Murphy were both listed sans injury designation this week, which means if either one is held out of the game on Sunday, it wouldn’t be due to health. The Titans will be without starting safety Kenny Vaccaro or linebacker Wesley Woodyard, but most of their roster is fully intact.
  10. Packers Training Camp 2018: Mike Daniels returns to practice on Thursday After suffering an injury on Monday and sitting out practice on Tuesday Youth JK Scott Jersey , one of the Green Bay Packers’ most important defensive players returned to the field on Thursday for practice. That player is defensive lineman Mike Daniels, who got a thigh bruise in Monday’s practice and was pulled off the field. Daniels returned to the sideline after treatment later that day, but did not rejoin his teammates on the field. Likewise he was held out of Tuesday’s practice, a move that now appears to have been precautionary.Daniels finally made his first Pro Bowl in 2017 and he is the Packers’ longest-tenured defensive lineman on the roster. He played in 14 games last year (missing game action for the first time since 2012) but recorded five sacks and a forced fumble. With Daniels back, the line is poised to be the strength of the Packers’ defense this season. Kenny Clark took a step forward in year two and should be even better on the nose in 2018, while free agent signing Muhammad Wilkerson is set up to be the ideal five-technique defensive end. Add in quality depth from Dean Lowry and flashes of talent from Montravius Adams and the excitement around this group is easy to see.Thankfully, this injury for Daniels has proven to be minor, and he’ll continue to be the linchpin of the group moving forward. How an undrafted wide receiver saved a game for the Packers Geronimo Allison, the undrafted wide receiver coming from the University of Illinois after two years at Iowa Western Community College, single-handedly (or with two hands if we’re being honest) put the team on his back to win a game for the Green Bay Packers in 2017.It happened early in the year so some of us may have forgotten, but I’m here to remind you how special those 7 minutes of game time were for Geronimo and Green Bay.Let’s replay this incredible sequence; I’ll start by setting the scene for you.The contest is in the fourth quarter of one of the hottest games ever recorded at Lambeau field.Cincinnati had just marched down the field on an 11-play touchdown drive, putting them up 24-17 with 3:46 on the clock. At this point Green Bay’s offense had no run game to speak of and while Aaron Rodgers was putting up decent numbers, too many of the passes were check-downs to Ty Montgomery out of the backfield.Adding to the intrigue was the fact that both of your starting offensive tackles were out of the game and Randall Cobb was inactive.Needless to say, confidence heading into this drive was not very high. So what do you do? Throw to your fourth wide receiver on four out of the first five plays of the drive, of course. Who says McCarthy isn’t a coaching genius?4th Quarter Color Rush Kenny Clark Jersey , target 1 of 4The play starts with Allison coming in motion from the bottom to the top of your screen, ending up in the slot position between Bennett, who was flexed off the line, and Jordy Nelson playing out wide.Allison runs a switch comeback route; he initially breaks up the field at a 45 degree angle to the outside, while Nelson does the same but to the inside - essentially switching their positions. After getting upfield around 20 yards, Allison cuts back and outside, the classic comeback pattern. The Bengals defense counters with a cover three look, but the cornerback that is covering Allison on the outside slips as Allison is at the top of his route.Rodgers manages to escape early pressure (McCray at right tackle is less than ideal) and spots a wide open Allison along the sideline for a 17-yard pickup.4th quarter, target 2 of 4After another incompletion to Ty Montgomery in the backfield, Allison is in a similar position to the above play, except Davante Adams and Nelson have swapped spots. The inside blitz by Cincinnati is not picked up by Green Bay’s linemen so Rodgers is forced to throw the ball sooner than anticipated.Luckily for him, his receivers were running slants, and Allison finds himself open.Rodgers fires one that hits Allison square in the hands, but the wide receiver can’t manage to hang on to what would have been close to a first down. 4th quarter, target 3 of 4This might give some of you a bit of deja-vu; watch this clip and see if you can figure out the similarities between this play and the first play I highlighted. You guess it - the route combination is the same. This is a great example of how you can run the same concept with different window dressings to disguise it.This time , Allison doesn’t motion across the field; he starts in the slot position with Nelson above him.An added wrinkle, which I really like, is the designed rollout protection scheme with the linemen. While having you quarterback use a designed rollout limits their field of vision, it also eases the burden on the offensive line, something that Cincinnati had been exploiting with blitz schemes and winning 1 on 1 matchups on the edge against Green Bay’s backup tackles.Rollouts are especially effective against man coverage as it allows the receivers more time to get into their routes and extends the coverage time of the defense. The playside blockers don’t drop straight back and instead work their way down the line, while the backside blockers follow suit and hitch after they get into position.See how far the pocket moves:As for the routes themselves, Nelson essentially sets a pick on the swap between him and Geronimo; Allison runs underneath Nelson and Allison’s defender, Darqueze Dennard, gets hung up and ends up a few yards behind him.Geronimo runs another comeback route, and as his defender had already been beaten over the top, coming back to the LOS made the catch more difficult than it needed to be. Despite good positioning by Dennard on the throw, Allison fully extends himself and his lanky frame to make a great contested catch on the sideline.4th quarter, target 4 of 4:After getting the ball on three out of four plays, Allison is feeling it.Again matching up against Dennard, Allison is now lined up in the left slot paired with Adams.Only Allison and Martellus Bennett actually run routes Color Rush Jamaal Williams Jersey , as the outside receivers are blocking the entire way.Immediately looking his way, Rodgers slings the ball Allison’s way on a flare out to the sideline where its up to Adams to give him a block and for Geronimo to make someone miss.He doesn’t; nor does anybody watching the game expecting him to, as Allison isn’t really all that agile and he’s gassed at this point.Regardless, he picks up four yards and immediately goes to the sideline to catch his breath. For an undrafted wide receiver who is normally fourth on the depth chart; not a bad series. But here’s where the real beauty comes in.OvertimeThe Bengals got the ball first but Green Bay’s defense held them to a three and out, and after a nice return by the much-maligned Trevor Davis (whom I still think can be a really good return man) the Packers have the ball at their own 21 yard line. After a pair of incompletions, Green Bay was facing a 3rd & 10.Always looking for a free play, Rodgers uses a hard count on the Bengals - and it works. In an interview with Larry McCarren, Allison said he recognized the offsides, worked vertical, felt the cover two coverage, and peeked at the safety to see where he was.The rest was gravy.Rodgers recognizes the coverage early, looks off the safety, and fires a beautiful ball sliding to his left to hit Allison before the safety help gets there. 72 yards later, Geronimo Allison had put the Packers in an excellent position to win the ballgame and they did just that as Mason Crosby knocked home a 27 yard field goal two plays later.Allison had himself a pretty loud seven minutes for someone typically so quiet.
  11. The 49ers haven’t officially released linebacker Reuben Foster Cheap Josh LeRibeus Jersey , but they’ve said they will. And with the trade window closed, they can’t do what the Browns did with receiver Josh Gordon earlier this year.So when Foster is released, he’ll head to the waiver wire, where any other team can claim the balance of his rookie contract. As pick No. 31, Foster initially had a fully guaranteed salary for 2019, in the amount of $1.286 million. A prior suspension likely erased the guarantees Cheap Vonn Bell Jersey , however, which means that neither a new team (if the contract is claimed) or the 49ers (if it isn’t claim) would owe Foster the money. His base salary for 2018 is $875,000; his pay for the final five games of the season would be $257,000.Although it’s unlikely that a suspension without pay would be finalized before the end of the season, any team that would claim or otherwise sign Foster would risk being required to pay him during a stay on the Commissioner Exempt list, a device for keeping players off the field when those players face certain types of criminal charges Cheap Austin Carr Jersey , including allegations of domestic violence.Ultimately, that’s the question that would need to be asked before a team like the Saints (which reportedly wanted to draft Foster before the 49ers sprang up to get him) would give Foster his latest second chance. Unless the league office can answer that question quickly, it’s possible that anyone interested in Foster would sit tight until the league knows what it plans to do with Foster, who is good enough of a player to get someone to give the person another opportunity to comply with the standards of society and the rules of the NFL.Fleur-de-Links, May 15: Carolina Panthers sell; still owned by Saints Word on the StreetDeon Yelder hoping to become complete tight end with Saints | NOLA.comYelder was a top target for the Saints after the draft.Saints release linebacker Adam Bighill | theadvocate.comThe New Orleans Saints have made a flurry of signings in the aftermath of this weekend's rookie minicamp, and the flip side of those additions is that the team must cut some players to remain under the 90-man roster limit.Panthers' Russell Shepard refuses pay cut Cheap Sheldon Rankins Jersey , will be free agent | Charlotte ObserverCarolina Panthers wide receiver Russell Shepard has asked for his release after refusing to take a pay cut, sources said. Chargers star DE Joey Bosa will likely miss Week 3 matchup with Los Angeles Rams After the Los Angeles Rams host the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday White Marcus Peters Jersey , they will then host their cross-town rival Los Angeles Chargers. Looking at the team in the preseason, the one player on the Chargers that jumps out on the roster is superstar DE Joey Bosa, the 23-year-old Ohio State product that has already carved out an impressive career in just two seasons. It seemed that his nagging foot bruise that kept him out last week wasn’t that serious, but then head coach Anthony Lynn said this:This is a huge loss for the Chargers and the impact was already felt in their week 1 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs — they just couldn’t get any pressure on the quarterback (Patrick Mahomes ended up throwing 4 TD passes). Bosa is their undisputed leader on the defense. The absence of the 37th ranked player in the NFL looks to be quite the advantage for the Rams’ offense. And since the announcement is coming several weeks earlier, Coach McVay has time to gameplan — how will the Rams exploit this hole in the Chargers defense? We at TST don’t wish any injuries on any player because they’re human beings and so are we (technically). That being stated, this is a game of inches and without Joey Bosa on the field, the Rams may have caught a lucky break. By the time December rolls around, the Seattle Seahawks may have more regret than they currently do about what transpired the first two weeks of the regular season.Because in hindsight, those first two games appear such outliers from where the Seahawks are headed based on the way they've played for the past month."I'll never not be frustrated by the way we started this season, but we're moving Youth Todd Gurley II Jersey ," Seattle coach Pete Carroll said. "This is kind of how we've done it over the years and we got a chance to be a really nice team."The Seahawks sit at 3-3 going into their bye week, but a .500 record doesn't fully tell the story of what Seattle has shown through six games. For two weeks, the Seahawks were lost in trying to discover their identity. No matter how much they said during the offseason they were committed to running the ball, relying on field position and defense, putting that mission statement into practice when the regular season began proved difficult. That's why Seattle seemed so out of whack offensively during season-opening losses to Denver and Chicago. It was counter to everything Carroll and his staff preached leading into the opener. And it's why a reset before Week 3 has proved the difference in putting the Seahawks in position to be part of the playoff conversation as the season progresses. The reset Seattle made offensively before facing Dallas in Week 3 involved two key aspects. The first happened on the offensive line. D.J. Fluker returned from injury and was slotted in at right guard, sliding veteran J.R. Sweezy over to left guard. The shuffling on the line instantly made Seattle a significantly better run-blocking team. Fluker has put together his own personal highlight tape of flattening defenders in recent weeks, while Sweezy's demeanor and style is akin to the Seattle teams he played for several years ago when the Seahawks were making Super Bowls. The second came with Seattle's stable of running backs. Rather than trying to be equitable, as the Seahawks were through the first two weeks, the decision was made to make Chris Carson the primary ball carrier. No more splitting carries just for the sake of doing so. Only when Carson needed a break would another back get the chance. The results for the past four games — when the Seahawks have gone 3-1 — have completely changed the course of Seattle's season. In those four games combined, Seattle is one of three teams to have rushed for more than 600 yards Brandin Cooks Jersey , along with the Rams and Cowboys. The Seahawks' 180 total rushing attempts are second only to the Rams. In the past four games, Seattle has 142 rushes, the most of any team during that span. And the Seahawks are getting these yards with only limited contribution from Russell Wilson as a running threat a year after he was Seattle's leading rusher. At a time the league is going wild with passing and scoring, the Seahawks are bucking the offensive trend in the other direction with a formula that appears to be working."This is winning football," Seattle wide receiver Doug Baldwin said. "You run the ball, you convert on third down in passing game when you have to. You play stifling defense and stopping the run, and you don't turn the ball over. Usually you win the games when you do that."The most telling stat comes from looking at Wilson's numbers. In the first two games, he was sacked 12 times, completed just 59.4 percent of his throws and had a passer rating of 89.3. In the four games since, Wilson is completing 67 percent while attempting significantly fewer throws; has a passer rating of 116; and has been sacked seven times.Just as eye opening is his lack of runs: Wilson has just 17 rushes for 62 yards through six games. Last year Authentic Ramik Wilson Jersey , Wilson had already run 32 times."Russell's doing more than he's ever done before. He's orchestrating and controlling the play calling, the adjustments at the line of scrimmage when he can," Carroll said. "He's just been brought to a different level of responsibility and he's doing a nice job with it. He's putting us in position to run the ball effectively now as well as in the passing game, so he's grown, yeah he's improved."Whether that formula is capable of keeping Seattle in the playoff race will be tested when it returns from the bye. The Seahawks face a challenging five-week stretch in which four of the five opponents have above-.500 records. Three of those games — at Detroit, vs. Green Bay, at Carolina — come against teams Seattle could end up competing against for a wild-card berth."There's a real style about it where we can sense now. It's one week at a time, we just need to keep riding that and see how far it takes us," Carroll said.
  13. Since his arrival in Buffalo Authentic Dion Dawkins Jersey , LeSean McCoy has been the face of the offense for the Buffalo Bills. This season has been a massive disappointment. Through eight games, McCoy has failed to log a touchdown or break the 100-yard mark in a game. Against the New England Patriots he delivered just 13 yards on twelve carries. I don’t think we need to crunch the numbers on his yards-per-attempt for that one.So what’s the deal? Has he lost a step or thirty? Is Brian Daboll to blame? The offensive line? As a certain coach might say, let’s look at the tape to see what’s happening. We’ll focus on carries as that’s the area most drastically changed from years’ past. Play 1 (Gain of 12 yards)A direct snap to LeSean McCoy fools no one. The offensive line still manages to open a lane and McCoy decisively cuts in. Elandon Roberts (52) is too aggressive and shoots past the gap. McCoy’s initial move and speed gets a nice chunk of yards before Roberts can correct his mistake. Regarding Shady, his speed and acceleration look fine on this play. Play 2 (Gain of 1 yard)It’s another direct snap to Shady and the entire Bills offense moves in the same direction to block. The Patriots still aren’t fooled and they all move in the same direction too. Roberts shows more discipline this time and no lanes develop for McCoy. Play 3 (Loss of 3 yards)The line opens up a narrow lane for LeSean McCoy that likely leads to a very modest gain. Not liking what he sees, McCoy jumps to the outside only to find a worse situation. The little dance costs him three yards as Keionta Davis (58) slips his block to make a shoestring tackle. Play 4 (Loss of 3 yards)This negative play has a very simple explanation. As soon as Derek Anderson takes off to the side of the field, every single defender knows it’s a run play. At the snap they attack McCoy and a poor block leads to a loss of three yards. Play 5 (Gain of 1 yard)The Patriots (and everyone else) have relied on single coverage for Buffalo’s receivers and loaded up defenders against the run—it’s been effective. McCoy shows off some change of direction agility but it’s all for naught. There’s no good direction to go. Part of the issue on this and other plays is the offensive formation. With no one out wide on the right side of the formation it compresses the field for defenses who are already stacking the box. At the snap everyone sees run, and defenders who may have been nominally covering a receiver or tight end are already in the pile. Play 6 (Gain of 4 yards)A stacked box leads to no lanes once again. Jordan Mills can’t hold his block long enough and McCoy finds himself in a footrace to the sidelines. McCoy manages to pick up four yards as a result of his acceleration and speed. Another quarter-second on the block from Mills and this run has the potential to move the sticks. Play 7 (Gain of 2 yards)McCoy is decisive hitting the sole lane he has open. Once there he finds what looks like the entire Patriots defense waiting for him. The Patriots act unconcerned about what Derek Anderson brings to the table and have yet again sold out to stop McCoy. Teams have generally not been any more concerned about Josh Allen or Nathan Peterman.Play 8 (Loss of 5 yards)The Bills have plenty of blockers in front of this play. Somehow they all miss and McCoy is hit by what amounts to a free rusher. What’s worse is that you can see a large lane open up after the play is already decided. One more block and who knows how far this goes. Play 9 (Gain of 6 yards)It wasn’t just the Patriots who stacked the box. Single coverage on receivers has been the norm this year with extra defenders looking to stop McCoy and Chris Ivory. Some quick cuts from McCoy lead to a nice gain on this play. In conclusionMcCoy isn’t 100% of the player he used to be, for sure. On the Tennessee Titans play he shows off some wiggle, but he’s not as consistently slippery as years past. With little to no respect for the quarterback carousel in Buffalo, teams have had more resources to shut down McCoy. Play designs aren’t always inspiring as Daboll draws some up that compress the field for the running game. Blocking is inconsistent at best. There’s an argument that Shady McCoy has lost a step. There’s also an argument that he’d be a play-maker in a different offense.2019 NFL Draft Season Preview: Defense With the college football season imminently approaching, it’s never to early to look ahead to the 2019 NFL Draft and explore which position groups are deepest Authentic LeSean McCoy Jersey , and which players are worth watching, focusing on the defensive side of the ball. This year’s defensive line class has the potential to be one of the best in quite some time, while the secondary group lacks depth outside of a few very well known prospects.Defensive TackleOn CBS Sports’ rankings, there are currently five defensive tackles ranked within the top thirteen prospects, which gives you a sense of how talented this position group truly is. Houston’s Ed Oliver is the main attraction: he has the quickness of Aaron Donald and the strength of a player 20 pounds heavier. He’s a top-five lock. Michigan’s Rashan Gary is an end/tackle hybrid that hasn’t yet reached his massive potential but can play up and down the defensive line. Clemson sports two elite tackles in Dexter Lawrence and Christian Wilkins, with Lawrence having the higher ceiling of the two. Per usual, Alabama features an NFL caliber lineman in Raekwon Davis, who will likely make a bigger name for himself as the year goes on. The wild card of the group though is Jeffery Simmons of Mississippi State. He flashed some dominant tape in last year but needs to show more consistency this year. All of the above players are likely to be first round picks and that’s only scratching the surface. This is a rare group.Edge RusherThough not quite as stacked as the previous group, this year’s group of edge rushers has plenty of time to improve their reputation. Ohio State’s Nick Bosa appears to be a more athletic version of his brother Joey, and will likely be drafted higher than Joey because of it. Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell has Shaq Lawson’s size but also a quicker get-off and longer arms. Then there is Miami’s Joe Jackson, who is primed for a breakout year along with the rest of the Hurricane’s defense. A player I’ll be watching closely is Josh Allen’s former teammate at Wyoming , Carl Granderson. The senior has the size, speed and wingspan of a dominant college player, but needs to put it all together this year.LinebackerA solid class overall so far, there will be a linebacker that suites every defensive coordinator’s taste. If you’re looking for a franchise middle linebacker look no further than LSU’s Devin White or Notre Dame’s Te’von Coney. If you want outside linebacker that can cover and shut down outside runs, Kentucky’s Josh Allen, UB’s Khalil Hodge, or Michigan’s Devin Bush are more than capable. It will also be interesting to see if Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson can steal the show from his sophomore counterpart, Dylan Moses.SafetyThere’s still plenty of time of players to emerge out of this year’s safety class, but so far it is one that lacks depth. Having said that, the class seems to be stacked with free safety-type ballhawks in the secondary, starting with Boston College’s Lukas Denis. Denis is an ideal centerfielder in the mold of Earl Thomas or Jairus Byrd , coming down with seven interceptions in 2017. Miami’s Jaquan Johnson also seems to have a knack for turnovers, with four interceptions to go along with three forced fumbles last year. Up in Washington, the Huskies have JoJo McIntosh, who at 6’1” 205 pounds loves to come downhill against the run and punish runners. CornerbackSimilar to safety, the corner class is a bit of an unknown quantity. What is known is that LSU’s Andraez “Greedy” Williams and Georgia’s Deandre Baker will be competing all season for the title of “Best College Cornerback.” Outside of those two, Julian Love for Notre Dame is a smart, technically sound player that is under-hyped at this point in time and Michael Jackson has the size teams want in their outside press corners (6’1”). Other prospects, like Duke’s Mark Gilbert and Ohio State’s Kendall Sheffield, are getting a fair share of good press, but judgement should be withheld until they prove they can handle full seasons as starting corners.
  14. Packers-Bears Film Preview: Where will Khalil Mack line up for Chicago’s defense? Khalil Mack , the longtime Oakland Raider, is now the highest paid defensive player in the league. And he’s also a member of the Chicago Bears. If you had asked everyone six months ago how the Mack situation in Oakland would have played out, I bet you could have counted on one hand the number of people who said he was going to Chicago.Unfortunately, the Green Bay Packers are going to have to deal with this reality through 2024. In preparation for Sunday’s game, we take a look at how Mack’s transition from defensive end to outside linebacker might go.2014Mack saw the field right away in his rookie season, starting the season technically as the SAM, or Strong-side outside linebacker, in a 4-3 under formation. On early downs, Mack would be in a stand-up position on the LOS outside the defensive tackle.Standing up meant Mack was more of a read and react player, where he would engage with a blocker, read the play, shed the block, and pursue the ballcarrier. This read and react style of play tends to limit players’ pass rush pressures on these early downs, especially for younger players in the league, as the processing of the play type takes a split second, and that split second is vital when it comes to rushing the passer.Keep in mind that this does not apply when the linebacker is told to blitz; the read and react becomes someone else’s responsibility then.On passing situations, Mack would lineup as the rush end on either side of the defense. There didn’t appear to be a concise gameplan for which side Mack would rush from but it didn’t really matter - even though Mack expressed frustration that he only managed to record 4.5 sacks on the year, he piled up the pressures as he ranked tied for 5th in the league.2015Mack, under new head coach Jack Del Rio and defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr., still started games in a standing position and he was able to have success there. However, Mack was increasingly playing with his hand in the dirt.Norton Jr., similar to his predecessor, also employed a 4-3 defense but officially moved Mack to a DE position. Here he is rushing off the left side against Packers right tackle Bryan Bulaga.By starting with a hand on the ground and playing the defensive end position, it relinquishes (to an extent, as it’s playcall dependent) the read and react nature of the outside linebacker position and instead the player can focus on beating the man in front of him.The results spoke for themselves; freed up to be more aggressive in pursuit of the ball, Mack finished the year with 15 sacks, second only to J.J. Watt. What stood out to me was how effortless Mack makes everything look - shedding blocks, speed moves, long arm moves, backside pursuit, inside counters - Mack had evolved from raw rookie to an elite edge player in one season. In reviewing Mack’s film, it’s interesting to note that of his 18 combined individual and half sacks that year (12 individual sacks worth 1, 6 combined sacks worth .5 for a total of 15 sacks) Cheap Clay Matthews Jersey , only three out of those 18 combined sacks came when he was playing in a stand-up position and none of those three were high quality. The first came when he only had a running back blocking him who missed a cut block; the second came when he chased down a quarterback playing a spy position; and the third was a cleanup sack brought by other players’ pressure.Additionally, 15 of the 18 combined sacks came when he was rushing from the left side of the defense. While this may sound important, don’t let this fool you - this was only because Mack predominantly lined up in a down position on the left side of the defense, thereby having a much greater number of opportunities to accumulate those sacks. There’s absolutely no question in my mind that if he had lined up in, say, a standup position on the right side, Mack would have had a similar impact.2016 and 2017Mack, now fully entrenched as the premier pass rusher in the league, was receiving the respect from offenses that he deserved. It took him four games to get his first sack in 2016, due in large part to offenses recognizing what a force he is, and either double teaming him or getting the ball out quickly.Mack didn’t do anything new or line up in many different spots; on early downs or with heavier offensive looks Mack saw a lot of time as the left defensive end and would line up outside the offensive tackle or tight end if there was one.He would still play in a stand-up position sometimes:On passing downs, Mack would widen out but primarily stick to the left side, going up against the offense’s right tackle. This is what Mack did for a majority of the time.Similar to 2015, very few sacks came from a standup position or from anywhere but the left side.Mack was being played in a fixed position on passing downs, and he was reaping the benefits. Just look at his sacks:But versatility is king in the modern NFL defense and the Raiders were beginning to recognize that as well.Mack has the athleticism and overall talent to lineup anywhere on the field and be productive, so Norton Jr. would on occasion have him line up inside with Bruce Irvin and have other linemen play on the outside:or Norton would switch Mack over to the right side.As teams want to gain every edge possible, defensive fronts would change based upon the weekly and in-game matchups that were presented, and traditional defensive roles were blurred.2018Now it’s time to face the music — Khalil Mack will be chasing Aaron Rodgers around for roughly 80 plays a year for the forseeable future.Mack is slotted as an outside linebacker for the Bears, an important position for the success of Vic Fangio’s defense as it is in most 3-4 defenses. They need to rush the passer, set the edge on runs, and occasionally drop back in coverage.Outside linebackers are asked to do a lot, and the Bears’ lack of pressure in recent years has been largely blamed on poor outside linebacker play. While it has been a minute since Mack consistently played outside linebacker, he’s been successful at whatever position he’s been put in.I would expect him to play standing up in the LOLB spot in base packages, but quickly get kicked down on the line in sub packages so he can do what he got a record breaking contract to do. I don’t expect Mack to switch sides from left to right; its clear that he’s had success on the left side and Chicago’s other outside linebacker, Leonard Floyd, is a solid young talent.Packer fans might be ruing the fact they didn’t draft a replacement for Bryan Bulaga, because that’s the matchup we’re going to see a lot of.As teams have figured out with every superstar pass rusher, you cannot block them one on one for any length of time and be successful unless the ball leaves the quarterback’s hands in two seconds or less. The Packers are at their best when the offense is able to strike quickly, but Aaron Rodgers has a propensity to hold on to the ball and squeeze every second out of a play. The Packers will have to adjust their game-planning a bit in order to account for Mack — I would predict a lot of chipping by tight ends and running backs. In all honesty, though, I want to see Mack line up over David Bakhtiari 60 times a game and have those two go one on one.The best pass rusher in the league versus the best pass blocker in the league is must-see TV.No matter where Mack lines up, hopefully, Green Bay will be able to limit the number of times this happens. Mason Crosby smiled as he left the field. It was quite the week for the Green Bay Packers' veteran kicker.Crosby hit four field goals Mason Crosby Jersey , including the winner from 27 yards as time expired to lift the Packers past the San Francisco 49ers 33-30 on Monday night."This week was a grind, it was one of the tougher weeks of my career," Crosby said.It began with rare questions about Crosby's reliability following four missed field goals and an extra-point try in a 31-23 loss in Detroit last week.It ended with a perfect night against the 49ers. He also hit from 29, 39 and 51 yards, and made all three extra-point attempts."It's very appropriate, what he went through last week, (for) the team to stick with him," Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said. "And then he responded."The drive that led to Crosby's winner was extended after cornerback Richard Sherman was flagged for illegal contact on third-and-15 that wiped out a sack with 43 seconds left.Rodgers rushed up the middle for a 21-yard gain on the next play. The two-time NFL MVP completed two more passes for 19 yards to set up Crosby's winner for Green Bay (3-2-1)."It doesn't matter if you agree with the call. It's not like, 'Oh, I didn't agree with the call, they're going to pick it up.' They called it. I've got to find a way to do better," Sherman said.Other takeaways and key moments from the game:CLUTCH RODGERSRodgers threw for 425 yards and two scores, both to Davante Adams. The second came with 1:55 left from 16 yards to tie it at 30.The Packers didn't waste a second chance to get into field-goal range after the penalty on Sherman. After a spike to stop the clock with 19 seconds left following his 21-yard scramble to the Packers 45, Rodgers hit three straight passes to move Green Bay to the San Francisco 9. The receivers got out of bounds after each of play to buy more time."Just the time, and just really the menu (of plays) and the operation, that was a clinic," coach Mike McCarthy said.LATE PICKC.J. Beathard passed for 245 yards and two long touchdowns to speedy receiver Marquise Goodwin for the 49ers (1-5).For a while it looked like they might hold on for their first victory since quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was lost for the year in Week 3 with a torn ACL.Turnovers hurt them again 鈥?three more on Monday night, but none bigger than cornerback Kevin King's interception of a deep pass down the middle at the Packers 10."Very disappointed. We had a chance to win that game," coach Kyle Shanahan said. "It hurts."A second-year cornerback, King was locked in 1-on-1 coverage with Goodwin, who had burned the secondary all night. This time, King kept up and pulled in a ball that looked slightly underthrown by Beathard.King picked a nice time for his first career interception."I've just got to stay the course, keep doing your job, keep it going, and those types of plays are going to come," King said.GOOD GOODWINThe Packers had 17-7 lead when Rodgers connected with Adams for a 9-yard touchdown with 1:58 left in the first quarter. Then San Francisco just brushed past Green Bay.Beathard connected with Goodwin for the 67-yard score down the middle of the field on the ensuing series.Goodwin had a 30-yard score with 6:05 left in the second. Goodwin, who finished with four catches for 126 yards, celebrated by mimicking a long jump in the end zone.Beathard was 16 of 23.NO TAKEAWAYSAnother game without a takeaway for the Niners dropped them to an NFL-worst minus-11 in turnover differential. The defense had generated a league-low three takeaways coming into the night, the fewest for the franchise after five games since 1977.RECEIVERS RUN AWAYThe Packers got the 49ers to bite on play-action early that resulted in open passes to Jimmy Graham and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.Rodgers found Valdes-Scantling for a 60-yard completion on the Packers' first play from scrimmage, setting up Ty Montgomery's 2-yard touchdown run with 9:20 left in the first quarter to tie the game at 7.Graham and Valdes-Scantling each finished with more than 100 yards receiving. Adams had 10 catches on 16 targets with a game-high 132 yards and two scores. It was a promising night for a passing game with receivers Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison both sidelined again with hamstring injuries.
  15. Each practice day , the Kansas City Chiefs will release an official injury report leading up to the next game. The Chiefs host the Denver Broncos this Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. Here is the Chiefs’ final injury report of the week with official game designations:BroncosSome notesMitch Morse is still in the concussion protocol and has officially been ruled out, so Austin Reiter will step in at center for the Chiefs. Broncos running back Royce Freeman, who had eight rushes for 67 yards in the first game against the Chiefs, has been ruled out, meaning that Phillip Lindsay will get the bulk of carries on Sunday. Outside linebacker Shane Ray, a Kansas City native, won’t play against the Chiefs.Despite Von Miller being officially questionable to play against Kansas City, he will play , according to Broncos head coach Vance Joseph (via Nicki Jhabvala). Inside linebacker Brandon Marshall and center Nico Falah are also questionable.Patrick Mahomes Week 5 Film Review: something improved and something that needs improvement This is part three of a three-part weekly film analysis on the performance of Patrick Mahomes.Part one here, part two here.Something improvedThe most fun part about watching Mahomes is knowing and seeing that he’s just getting started and continues to improve on a weekly basis. The reps are going to bring plenty of experience and it seems as though he is maximizing every new opportunity and milking as much intel out of each play as he can.Over time, as he continues to get more and more thrown at him, you’re seeing his ability to process plays more quickly. His preparation during the week and experience he’s gaining is allowing him to work through progressions quicker every week. He’s prepared for the coverages he’ll see and is able to get off routes in his progression quickly because of his understanding of how the defense is playing him. He’s aware of coverage structure and knows who should be there and who shouldn’t. Every week, we see more confidence to throw to voids. Some of the things he’s showed in this cut-up of plays from Jacksonville:Play One (first two shots); Understanding coverage and knowing where the void will be for Kelce. Throws with anticipation and confidence, even though it’s ultimately incomplete.Play Two: Working through his progression on the boot, knowing he has Conley working to him from the backside of the play, Smith clears and he has space to deliver the ball. Also great use of a high elbow to keep the short throw over the top of the defender.Play Three: With the corner cleared Authentic Tyreek Hill Jersey , knowing he has that underneath defender caught in a “can’t be right” situation. The way the defender started driving on the route to the flats makes me think Mahomes might have manipulated the coverage.Play Four: Understanding coverage and leverage, knowing that if the ball is on time and accurate on the out route, the defender doesn’t have a chance. Good velocity to deliver the ball in time for an easy catch.Mahomes is seeing the field well and processing the plays at a very high level that will only grow over time. There is a lot to be excited about.Needs improvementMahomes talked about what went wrong with this throw after the game.He said he over-strided. It’s a common issue for players with pitching backgrounds. He’s mentioned it throughout training camp and after games, and it seems like a focal point for him from a mechanical perspective.Players with backgrounds as a pitcher are used to making long extensions when delivering pitches. I suffered that, going back and forth between football and baseball in my college career. It takes time to completely eliminate those learned movements and in certain situations, you sometimes lean on those old habits. Over-striding can lead to timing thrown off on your delivery and more importantly affect your release point. Balls tend to sail when you over-stride. You’re also allowing more time for things to break down mechanically on the delivery of the ball. You never want a bail to sail in the middle of the field, and that’s obviously what happened on Sunday. It was a bad time for that mechanical breakdown. It will take more reps to eliminate it completely, but it rarely rears its ugly head Womens Eric Murray Jersey , but it seems like something he’s mindful of. I don’t anticipate it being a continual issue, but you see minor relapses at times. Hopefully, we don’t see it result in any more turnovers moving forward.Miss this week’s episode of the AP Laboratory? If you can’t see the player, click here.Links: Apple Podcasts | Google Podcasts | Spotify | Stitcher | Art 19
